Is Steven Colbert Really Running for President?

Today's New York Times had hidden inside the news that Steve Colbert's folks were investigating the filing requirements to run in South Carolina at least. Interesting to hear of the varying Democratic and Republican reactions. Those Republicans have no sense of humor. This news appeared in the Arts section (inside even) and not in the first sections political pages. He is selling a book.
